Sadie's Securities...

We got to Sadie's house late Friday night and of course we were greeted by her sweet chocolate!

Let me introduce to you...Marlin...
And the sweetest Ruger!

In the morning, I staggered out to their beautiful home. Here's the dining room...
and the beautiful wooden furniture...

These are framed pics of their previous chocolate labs...Remington and Colt. Ruger's is on the right and Sadie' and Rick's wedding picture below it. These two marvelous people have known each other for 40 years! Guess how long they've been married???!!! 5 years!
Here's the CONDO Rick built for the chocolate labs!
Standing on the porch is so calming. For some reason the pics didn't turn out...but these lucky ducks have a gorgeous mountainous panoramic view of thd Gallitin, Tobacco Root, Ruby ranges and Toll Mountain.

Sadie took me for a little ride in their little "covered wagon".

Ruger and Marlin had fun, too!

Meanwhile, Rick cooked a most delicious breakfast!

He's a great guy and has a thing for red heads...he is (was) one too!
We had corn muffins, omelets, ham, elk brauts with cheese and jalepinos, toast, pancakes (made with corn), fried potatoes, and fresh strawberries. Milk and juice and delicious coffee to drink. Does it get better than that? THANKS RICK!!!

Here's Miss Sadie in her office with her babies...

Soon, Jill and her family came out and enjoyed breakfast with us! We are standing in front of an antique fire wagon.
Rick put in that rock waterfall running into their pond they made for the dogs. Sadie bragged and bragged about how Ruger loved chasing the toy in the pond. What do you think?

Okay, let's try that again!

A special thanks goes to Sadie and Rick for letting me stay the night and being such wonderful hosts! I'll be back with husband!

And a very special holler to Jill. I miss you and Sadie lots! Can't wait for the convention next year!

This says it all...

about my husband and his love for airplanes! (Scott thinks he was in 1st grade or so.)

Magnificant Monday!

'Tis the season to get out some of my novelty salt and pepper shakers! I have lots of plain pumpkins and autumn ones, but these 2 are specifically for Halloween! The set on the left side were bought in Transylvania at Dracula's Castle! My student's parent bought these for me! The ones on the right are just dang cute!

Here's what happened yesterday when my glasses were in my pocket...oops. Time for a new pair. fIt's been 4 years since my last exam, so I suppose it is time!

For a very long time, we've only had a sheet and one blankie for me because my husband is a furnace! lol Well, I put my foot down...I want a warm, pretty bed set!
After we first put it on, the cats and Gus got up and sniffed around...walking very cautiously! lol They've never seen such a thing on our bed before!

TT's a little grouchy about it.
In a few days, I will post a blog with pics of my evening/morning with Sadie and Jill!

Make it a good Monday!
