Yes we can, yes we can.

What can we do? We can listen, research, read, talk to others about ALL the candidates, not just who you might like, but ALL of them...and not just one or two forwarded emails about them...but listen to their speeches, read their books, look at their records. CNN.com as well as npr.org and many other sites have great info on all of them...now is one of the most crucial times to vote, just like a.bananna says.

i know many of you don't like politics...but it is still there, diligently discover the truth of the candidates and vote...

because WE are the only ones that can make a change...

yes we can, yes we can.

Skeletons in the closet...

THINK YOU'RE THE FATHER OF ONE OF MY KIDS...

A guy goes to the supermarket and notices an attractive woman waving
at him.

She says hello. He's rather taken a back because he can't place where
he knows her from. So he says, "Do you know me?" To which she
replies,

"I think you're the father of one of my kids."

Now his mind travels back to the only time he has ever been
unfaithful to his wife and says, "My God, are you the stripper from my bachelor
party that I made love to on the pool table with all my buddies
watching while your partner whipped my butt with wet celery???

She looks into his eyes and says calmly, "No, I'm your son's
teacher."

Yesterday, we took a little drive...

to a place called Castle Butte just northeast of Billings. We started in the early evening because the light is at its best. Fortunately, my foot is good enough that I could walk partially around it.
Here is the lichen on the rock...pretty colors contrasting the grass.

Gus Bob had a GRAND time running, sniffing the rabbit trails and patiently waiting on us!

A lonely tree shadowing the rock. There are some historical rock carvings by natives, too!

When wet, this "gumbo" is impossible to walk on. We had a great time. My foot didn't allow us to walk very far, but it sure felt good to get out. The evening light is amazing, the cold air refreshing and simply relaxing to be out of the house!

HOWEVER, the river isn't ready to float yet, dang it!

Brrrr.
