(But i do truly appreciate the passion we all have for our right to decide the future of our country. This passion far exceeds the poison of apathy!)

Our Sites in Yellowstone Park...
Here's a look at our Friday night camp spot, close to the East gate. The colors of the Quaking Aspen, willows and various grasses were beautiful and you'll see lots of pics! The river in the background is the Shoshone River.
I had to take this pic! Our dad was a Game Warden (and District Supervisor) for the Wyoming Game and Fish...this Game Warden drove through the campground, checking fisherman and answering questions...made me miss my dad!
Ahhh..driving along, just before we entered the gates of Yellowstone was this massive buffalo crossing the road...one big boy! They weigh up to 2000 pounds and can sprint 30mph!
Here's a glance of the changing cottonwood leaves along the river...
Entering Yellowstone Park...the 1st national park of our nation!
On the opposite shores of the lake you see steam rising from the geysers. Yellowstone is known for its geological regions.
It doesn't bother the buffalo, they lay wherever they feel like it!
As we drove closer to Old Faithful, the number of geysers increased...
We arrived at the Old Faithful Geyser and the Old Faithful Inn, we saw lots of interesting sites!
We spotted plenty of these highly intelligent birds...the raven.
15 minutes after we walked out to the geyser site, I was able to record this!
After we watched the eruption, Scott and I walked for 2 hours looking at different geysers. Here's a few shots~
Below you can see the hot, calcium-filled water from a geyser flow into the Firehole River.
We even found a trail that headed through the woods to look down upon the rest of the geysers. Ya gotta love these hikes!
And the good ol' Gov't takes it into their hands to warn us of the dangers...
Here's some info on the geyser we found by the path...
You can see the various colors on the outside edges. This slimy looking stuff is actually very hard mineral deposits from the water. Each color is actually a different micro-organism that lives, perhaps, in that unique geyser.
Along the path, Scott looked over and saw this beautiful cow elk. We saw LOTS of elk this time around (and heard them bugle all night!) Can you see her? She's pretty well hidden!
Another geyser, I really loved the color of the water. The smell is of sulphur. Some believe it's little bits of HELL spewing up through the ground! lol
I think this one is called GIANT geyser. It takes over 100 years for the calcium to accumulate to one inch. Imagine how old this one is!
Ahhh, the Old Faithful Inn. This Historic Inn has many amazing features...
I appreciate the hand work...each log individually chopped. I suggest you go HERE to get more info about it!
After we walked for 2 hours, browsed through the Old Inn, ate grilled beef/cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, we decided to drive to a campground to find a spot to camp. Here's lots of pics of the gorgeous country.
We finally found a spot, fixed an easy dinner, and decided to be naughty tt! Look what we had for desert!
We sat by the campfire, ate our scrumpdileicious ice cream and had good visits.
Okay...basically the rest of these shots are of the gorgeous country...
and the leaves...
But guess what this is of??? Guess! Guess? Got it? I suppose not. Follow the evergreens along the middle of the pic to the right. Just in front of them are a few quaken aspen. In the middle there looks like a dead tree. Now follow that dead tree down just a little bit. Guess what you see? Yeah, I know, at least 1000 yards away, but that's as good as it gets! Okay, let me help you a bit...
Okay, follow the "path" down the middle to where the grassland is flat and you will see a cuople little black spots. Yep, that's them. That's the Druid Wolf Pack! There are actually 21 of them laying in that grass. Rarely do you see them...only when they stand up. We had a spotting scope, which made it much easie. It's the coolest thing seeing them! They are the only pack whose puppies survived this year. Most of them are black, a few are gray.
Okay, keep on trecking home and we started seeing some new snow in the high country!
The snow...and look at the fall colors of the grasses and willows...
We stopped for lunch and look what I found? Uh huh!
Okay, I have to confess...at this point, I had taken 100 pics and didn't have anymore room on my pic card! The rest of the ride home included the gorgeous Beartooth Pass (elevation over 10,000 ft), we hit snow, rain and hail! We saw antelope and a moose! And eventually...I fell asleep.
The weekend was gorgeous. It was so nice to get out to see and feel and smell the autumn conditions. And most of all, it fed my soul.

King Theo Came To Visit!
Theo is 11 months old! He's grown so much and is such a happy baby!
"T-Dog" still has those beautiful blue eyes and long eye-lashes, just like my Megs!
He loves his Aunt Michelle, too!
Theo decided it was time to shut the tv off...the debate was over!
He sure loves his food! Meat is his favorite!
And King Theo loves his Gramma E!
He's got her red hair!!!
And even got on Scott's lap a few times!
We had dinner at JB's where Michelle works.
Then they came over for some ice cream and to watch the VP debate.
The cats are saying "What the #$%^&*"
Megs said just about the exact same thing when she picked up King Theo and smelled his diaper!
Isn't this a sweet pic of her feeding him?
Sweet good-byes...
Here's 3 videos of the little cutie pie!
I'm sure you think he's as cute as me! It was so good to see Steve and Laura, too. They are wonderful parents and I'm so grateful they come up so we can spend time with the little King!
