A Winter Concert

First we had to hang all the homemade decorations my 161 students made.

And decorate the tree!
Check and see about decorating the piano, and tinsel rope on the speaker stands...
Mr. Robers adjusted the speakers for my 7th grade choir...and then they sang their hearts out! They sang a couple songs that weren't Wintery, a couple that were Christmassy and one in Hebrew.
Swing choir was MOST impressive! (You cant really tell in this pic, but the guys are wearing red bow ties to match the red accessories the girls wore...boys' idea!) Swing Choir is my select group, 94 auditions, 30 kids. They sang Oh Holy Night and a really fun '60s version of a Santa Medley.
Two shots of the 8th graders because there were so many! They sang a couple wintry songs, a couple not and a couple traditional Christmassy.

It ended with this song....and all 161 students on the floor singing...

(I estimate about 500 people there).

And of course I had to get my pic taken with SANTA!
The kids presented me with this gift...
and card...
And I thank them for all they do...they were AWESOME!

'Tis the Day

for my concert!

Dress rehearsal all day...concert tonight!

WOOHOO!
