Happy BIrthday, Rubye Jean!

"She must have been a beautiful baby..."
Look at those eyes!

All my life, you've been by my side.
Zillions of hours playing outside...

Fremont Lake...

We can never forget the color of the water and our underwater tea parties!

The pasture and the horses!

Growing up together...
And raising our own babies together...
It seems only yesterday when they were this old...and now you are a wonderful gramma!

We're still side by side...

Even though you are so far away, we still share memories and make new ones!

Your favorite color is purple, you are the best budgetor in the world, have a very green thumb and are passionate about your plants inside and out, best home cooked meals, wonderful gramma and sister. How many hours did we share playing Barbie Dolls, Monopoly/Life/Game of Happiness, in the pasture, sledding, ice skating, laughing so hard we pee pay, whaaaa, daddy rollin, barb done, clickedy, shared tears of laughter and tears of sadness, loving and accepting each other? I wish you many, many happy years to come and more memories for us!...and I love you from the deepest depths of my heart!

It's snowing.

Today... as 36 of us (8th graders and myself) sat in the dark... huddled in the corner of my choir room...not talking (well, girls trying not to giggle)...as the police swept our building for a bomb because of a threat found...Garrett speaks up, "If these are my last words, I just want you all to know that this was a fun class."

Thanks, Garrett.

1 hour and 15 minutes later...we resumed class...no bomb found.

I was just grateful it wasn't my 43 yackety 7th graders!

I considered having us all join hands and singing KUM BA YA (lol)
