After losing my father during the Fall, I hated the season for many years. It reminded me of death/dying. Today, I find comfort in the many different aspects of it. Have a wonderful Fall...and watch out for those spookies right around the corner!

I was going to write a "Fall" post today, but I can't find my camera with all my fall pics on it, dang it!

THIS!

September 14th -

Twenty-five years ago today I could take it no longer. I was a week overdue with twins (the Drs. don't even let that happen anymore) and so I started doing jumping jacks. 51 jumps and 12 hours later, gave birth to Michelle Lee (6lbs. 12oz.) and Megan Anne (5lbs. 8oz).

It's been so fun watching them grow up!

Gramma Lil loved them so much and they loved her!
We went through A LOT of shampoo!


And spent lots of times doing things together!

They have always been close to their cousin, Anna Jo!


They grew up so fast.

And I love them so much. Have a wonderful birthday, my beautiful girls!

I was so glad they weren't born on the 13th, the day my father died. Sadly, their birthday is the same day as our beloved mother/grandmother passed away. So to these 3 beautiful women that have had such profound influence on my life, especially on September 14th...
you have brought me much joy and will always be very close to my heart.
