We saw Theo today!

And for those of you who weren't around last November, my daughter, Megs made an incredibly unselfish decision. When her baby was born, she chose Steve and Laura to adopt him. It's an open adoption, so we get to see him every month or so. Here are some pics...you tell me how cute you think he is!

We went out to dinner, Michelle was our waitress! lol

Bye bye!

Friday!

WOOHOO!

Tonight we get to see little THEO (I'll have pics to post!), and tomorrow we go camping again :o)

Isn't that awesome!

Have a great day, everyone!

(Vel, tell us about your birthday dinner!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SISTA!

Today is a very special day for a very special person in my family!
(Her future is so bright, she's gotta wear Rue's shades.)

This is her huganug present we sent a couple of weeks ago.

HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE PICS OF MY SISTER, RUBYE JEAN; YOU KNOW HER AS VELVET GINGER!

WE WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER WHEN WE WERE LITTLE...PLAYING WITH WHOMEVER.

NOW SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, TEACHING HER GRANDCHILDREN THE JOY OF PLAYING OUTSIDE!

We had a wonderful 80th birthday party with our momma last year!
(and you know she's singing "Happy Birthday" to you, today!)

And here's little Rubye Jean when she was a baby, whenour parents owned a hunting cabin/resort in the mountains. Baths in the kitchen sink were common!

Here we are standing outside our gramma's cabin. (We loved to swing on the tire swing hanging from the giant pine tree in the back yard!)

With Jolene, beloved Beckie, Frosty and myself in Medicine Bow.

We grew up together, gone through a lot together, gone our separate ways and yet still together.
I love you very much, Rubye.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

On tour...

Tomorrow, I'm taking my 108 8th grade choir students, 8 risers and full sound system to 4 different elementary schools to perform the music from High School Musical 1 and 2. Did you get that? 4 set up...performances, tear downs in ONE DAY and add lunch in there as well as unloading all the equipment at the end of the day.

I think we'll watch a movie on Thursday.

:o)
