There's NOTHING more important than loved ones!

Megs and I went to Buffalo, Wyoming today to attend a funeral of a lifelong friend of my folks. Yes, it was sad, but "Tex" had a wonderful life with lots of kids and grandkids who loved her dearly. It was also good to see her family and other family friends. And even though our time was short, I had some real quality time with my family.

Here's Megs...it's ALWAYS good to spend some time with your daughter! I love and appreciate her so much.
After the service, my sister, Jolene and her BF Gary, Megs and I went for pie and coffee. This was before I dumped the whole cup of coffee on Gary's lap. (I was just reaching for the check!)
After the visit, we stopped at my cousin Bonnie's house. Here's a great shot of her and my VERY precious Aunt Lenora whom I love dearly!
It was a day to celebrate a wonderful woman's life who is not at rest. And it was a day to be with my family.

And tomorrow is FRIDAY! WOOHOO!

Life Is Good

So why am I up at 5 on Saturday morning? It's an hour earlier then when I have to drag myself up during the week. But the coffee is brewing and the dishwasher is humming and I'm wide awake.

Today, despite the snow/roads/traffic, Michelle, Megs and I are going shopping for a special day, June 12th! Michelle is looking for a Tierra, shoes and earrings, Megs is looking for a Maid of Honor dress and I'll be looking for a MOTHER OF THE BRIDE dress :o) Oh yeah, and Michelle will be ordering her WEDDING dress, as well!

And IF I would have gotten my butt in gear and got a Christmas letter out, here's our most recent family picture!

As I said, LIFE IS GOOD!
